About the Role
Position Overview:
The Transportation Specialist is responsible for safely transporting beneficiaries and personnel to various destinations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
-Transport beneficiaries to medical and dental appointments, recreational outings, and other designated locations as assigned.
-Transport personnel for shopping trips and other work-related outings as required.
-Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned vehicle, including fueling, interior and exterior cleaning, and routine inspections.
-Maintain accurate mileage and vehicle records, ensuring proper documentation of all trips.
-Complete and submit incident reports to the House Supervisor as needed.
-Adhere to company policies regarding uniform and badge requirements, maintaining a professional appearance.
-Uphold proper hygiene and conduct while on duty.
-Strictly prohibit personal use of the company vehicle.
-Ensure no unauthorized passengers are transported at any time.
-Report all vehicle-related issues, maintenance needs, or concerns to the House Supervisor immediately.
Requirements
Qualifications, Skills, and/or licensing required:
Valid driver’s license (Class B preferred).
Clean driving record.
Valid vehicle insurance.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Possession of a Social Security card for verification purposes.
