About the Role
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of company properties, managing maintenance staff, and coordinating third-party contractors. This role ensures that all facilities remain in top condition through effective project management, inventory control, and strategic hiring.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee property maintenance and ensure timely repairs.
-Perform partial maintenance and repairs as needed.
-Hire and manage contracts for plumbing, electrical, and other specialized maintenance services.
-Lead departmental hiring and firing of maintenance staff.
-Manage projects related to facility improvements and renovations.
-Order and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Strong background in maintenance, repair, and facilities management.
Experience in team leadership and project management.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general construction.
Ability to coordinate and manage third-party contractors.
Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
Education & Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Construction, or a related field preferred).
5+ years of experience in maintenance, repairs, or a related field.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work are a plus.
